Pearl Stringing at Master the Art
Explore the process of Pearl Knotting in this one day workshop (10 am - 4 pm).
By the end of the day, you will have a pair of beautiful semi precious bracelets ready to wear and enjoy.
Learn how to securely fasten your bracelets and how to create neat knots between each bead. Pearl knotting is traditionally used to secure precious beads, especially pearls to protect them from chipping against each other, to give a professional look and to secure the beads should the necklace / bracelet break.
Choose from a selection of beautiful semi precious gemstone beads and pearls, and sterling silver clasps to design and make your own pair of bracelets or a necklace. We will work on bracelets to give added practice, but the process is the same if you were to create necklaces in the future.
As with all our workshops, no prior experience is necessary, simply the desire to escape for the day and create something beautiful!
Homemade and, where possible, locally sourced lunch and tea included.
